I will never stay at Yandina Caravan Park again. This park has pretty landscaped gardens, but that doesnt make up for the quality of permanent residents or the park management.
I witnessed an adult resident (the park garbageman) assault a ten year old child in the playground (by hitting him in the head) and then beating on the boy's father when he came to his child's aid. The management did nothing about this incident.
My own child was bitten by one of the dogs who was wandering around the park unleashed, and all the management did was move the dog owner to a bigger van with an ensuite - next to the resident who assaulted the child!
The ammenties were poorly cleaned ... be sure to wear your plastic thongs and line the toilet seat with paper before you sit down.
During the winter my family stayed, the electricity to vans would shut off several times a night, as the drain from cooking and heating appliances would strain the system. Several computer components and our television blew up as a result - approximately $700 worth of equipment in which we were not reimbursed.
Finally I also witnessed the manager & his partner assault a female tenant in the office. The resulting attack left her with extensive bruising on both arms and a bleeding nose.
This is one park to steer well clear of.
