Spear Creek is a working sheep and cattle station covering an area of more than 16,000 acres. We have a huge range of accommodation options from the budget backpackers quarters to fully catered live in conferencing which is available for groups of up to 50 people. Spear Creek also boasts its own accredited caravan park, which is set among the magnificent native gum trees and native fauna.
At Spear Creek we have property tours in our modified 6 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive training at very competitive rates. We are able to cater for all types of visitors and tourists, offering guided bush walks, social club events and facilities for private functions. As a base for your holiday in this area our location is perfect, for the fisherman, Port Augusta's boat ramp is 25 minutes away. Wilpena Pound is 1 ½ hours away and spectacular Alligator Gorge less than 1 hour. The Heysen Trail is close to our Eastern Boundary and we also have our own magnificent private walking trails in the Ranges.
