The weather is pleasant all year round with warm to hot temperatures and most rainfall confined to December to March monsoonal season. The caravan and camping park has grassed shady powered and unpowered sites, extra long motorhome sites, disabled amenities, a van storage facility and salt water swimming pool with spa for a refreshing swim. They provide a full range of accommodation and roadhouse services.

Their BYO Cafe Restaurant boasts locally sourced meat for home cooked and takeaway meals. Groceries are available from the Mini Mart and are an authorised Pharmacy agent. A gold phone is available for local and long distance calls. They can book your tours or accommodation for Cobbold Gorge and Undara Lava Tubes (bookings for both are essential). Their Service Station stocks most of your motoring needs, from a range of fuels and oils, LPG gas, ice, maps and magazines. They pride themselves on their friendly, personal service and invite you to drop in for a chat and meet the owners.
