Millmerran is located on the Darling Downs in a friendly country town.
It is central for Day trips to neighbouring towns,also short trips to visit the Power Station, Mount Bassalt,we also have a very good display in our Historical Museum,or you can just take a break and enjoy a relaxing quiet time.

We have many Native Birds in our Garden it is always a pleasure to just sit and watch them.

Stradbroke Island Tourist Park is nestled in the foothills of Point Lookout and offers modern air-conditioned villas, cabins, large shaded tent sites, kiosk and sub newsagency, BBQ, swimming pool, laundry facilities and children's playground. The park is surrounded by native bushland and is within easy walking distance to beaches, recreational facilities and licensed premises.

Palm Lake Resort at Carindale is a mature aged, independent living, lifestyle facility with two and three bedroom housing.
The Resort features a secure environment with a controlled access main gate and 24 hour camera monitoring. The security monitoring system is connected to the main television point in each home and the main gate can be viewed and opened from each home when visitors arrive.

The village has sealed roads, established gardens and landscaped common areas. Each home has its own garden and car accommodation. There are on site caretakers and common areas and lawns, are maintained by contractors. The caretakers operate a shuttle bus service to Carindale and Cannon Hill Shopping Centres three days of the week, with groceries lifted to your door.

Residents privacy is assured and there is a wide variety of activity available including water aerobics, gentle exercise, tai chi, outdoor and indoor bowls. An active residents social club organises regular outings such as bus trips, casual tea outings, BBQs and a weekly bingo evening.

Facilities available to residents include indoor heated swimming pool, four lane bowling green with night lights for night bowling, putt putt, boules, darts and a Recreational hall which is Air Conditioned. Our new Grand Hall houses an air conditioned Movie Theatre with forty seats, library with two computers on broadband, two snooker/billiards tables, dart boards, large TV with Foxtel, baby grand piano, an air conditioned craft room, gymnasium and workshop. Coffee and tea facilities are available in both our halls.

The Resort is close to the city, the airport and three major shopping centres (Carindale, Cannon Hill and Capalaba). There is a public transport route (Meadowlands Road) bordering the Village and easy access on and off the Gateway Arterial Highway.

There are no entry or exit fees. No stamp duty.
