The park offers a spacious and shady layout close to all amenities around town. We're a perfect choice for families (member of FPA) and groups.

Launceston is a small city located at the juncture of the North Esk, South Esk, and Tamar rivers. It houses a population of approx. 98,000 and is Australia's 3rd oldest city (after Sydney and Hobart) so there's tonnes of historic sites and heritage to absorb.

The park is set in 8 beautifully landscaped acres of gardens and is a perfect retreat or gateway to the attractions of the region. The Taymar valley and Cataract Gorge offer stunning scenery and the region is home to some of Australia's best vinyards.

Accomodation options include camping, powered or un-powered sites. Plus a range of cabin accomodation from Budget to Deluxe Spa. We're also a member of the FPA so rest asured we're great for children.

Low Head Tourist Park is a friendly open site on the banks of the Bass Straight. Only minutes walk to sandy beaches, and the other direction into town. We're also close by to the Tamar River, historic buildings and our town lightouse.
