Perched on top of the headland between Dee beach and Flatrock beach at North Bendalong, Allawah Beachside Cabins is an absolute water front location and is surrounded by pristine beaches, serene tea-tree lakes, Crown bushland, Conjola National Park and the sleepy village of Bendalong. Nth Bendalong is an un-spoilt haven for swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, diving, snorkelling, bushwalking, surfing and bird-watching. The beaches and lakes are safe for kids.
The beaches either side of the headland are less than a minute from your doorstep. A ten minute walk, either through bushland or along the beach, takes you to beautiful tea-tree lakes. Kangaroos graze morning and evening around the cabins and native birds are regular visitors. Feed the tame stingrays near Bendalong boat-ramp. This is a wonderful spot to take a holiday less than 3 hours from Sydney or Canberra, 35mins south from Nowra and close to the historic township of Milton. Escape and un-wind in the relaxing atmosphere and unspoilt natural environment, a treasure of the NSW south coast.
Allawah Beachside Cabins was established in the 1950's and we are renovating as time and funds permit, some of the cabins are more comfortable than others. The cabins are basic with an emphasis on outdoor living, all have bushland views, some have direct water views and some cabins have a generous, covered balcony area. Each cabin provides budget accommodation for up to six with one double bed and two double bunks. All have simple cooking facilities with fridge, electric cook-top, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Shower facilities are shared caravan park style. Linen is NOT provided, you MUST bring your own pillows, sheets, blankets and towels. Parking is available for boats and trailers at the front of the property. No pets please. Outdoor wood burning BBQ's are located next to each cabin. Choose from our wide range of accommodation to suit your needs. All our park cabins have full ensuite facilities, and range from luxury parkcabins (some with air-conditioning and linen supplied), through to more basic cabins, to grassy powered and unpowered caravan and tent sites.
For peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter and school holidays, it is necessary to book well in advance.
A general store opposite the park provides necessities such as basic supermarket products, petrol, gas, ice, fast food bar, bait and tackle, and much more.
PETS
Your pets deserve a holiday too, and are welcome at our park, subject to management approval. It goes without saying that pet owners are responsible for their pet's behaviour (and their toilet habits!)
PARK ACTIVITIES
At Kioloa Beach Holiday Park we offer a wide variety of activities. There is a 20metre salt-water swimming pool and a competition size tennis court,with rackets available for hire. There is also a childrens playground and our large grassy playing fields are ideal for football, cricket and softball. bicycle riding is also a favourite activity. Wildlife such as parrots, rosellas and possums abound within the park's natural bushland, and enjoy being handfed.
Our park fronts onto Kioloa Beach, which is protected from the Pacific Ocean by Belowla Island, thus providing a very safe beach for swimming, snorkelling, windsurfing and diving. While swimming and soaking up the sun are the most popular past-times, fishing from beach, rocks and boat are very popular too.
