Success in the UK

As owners of www.caravan-sitefinder.co.uk until last year, we spent six years honing our business model and software, resulting in six million unique visits and over £350,000 ($760,000 AU, $710,000 US) in revenue from British caravan parks in our final year of ownership.

Why we are selling

Despite the directory's excellent potential, we have recently made the difficult decision to let it go, as we simply don't have the business resources to do it justice. We will instead be concentrating on maximising our returns in the UK, where we continue to provide our directory software and on-line booking platform to a number of customers in the caravan industry, including Caravan Sitefinder UK. The opportunity

Our research indicates that the Australian and British markets are very similar in size, so this is an excellent business opportunity for someone to further develop and operate a caravanning website using our fully-supported directory and on-line booking software.

If you can book a flight on-line you will have no difficulty learning how to use our software. We will give you initial training over 2-4 sessions, plus an on-line help system and printed user guide for ongoing reference. An e-mail support system for specific enquiries is also available.

We can also offer ongoing business support and strategic advice based on our experience and success in running Caravan Sitefinder UK.

Requirements

• An understanding of and passion for the Australian Caravan Industry
• An ability to communicate to the caravan marketplace, enabling effective marketing and selling of advertising opportunities to the Australian caravan industry
• A commitment to license our directory software for £5000 ($11,000) per annum for a 3 year period (which includes all maintenance and hosting)
